In the midst of a pollution epidemic, it’s never been more important to try and reduce our use of non-recyclables. Trying to reduce the amount of plastic that we use globally starts with individuals and businesses making switches between single-use plastics to more sustainable materials and sticking to these alternatives far into the future. You may not think that you use that much plastic, but every piece of cling film, toothbrush, shampoo bottle and most food packaging is made up of this non-recyclable material that is killing the planet.
